Professor Youn gave a speech at “Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Engineering Forum, 2016.” The newly formed AI research committee by KSME held this forum to address the issues in the artificial intelligence (AI) area. AI is being considered as the drive for the 4^th industry revolution in the field of machinery diagnostics, unmanned-vehicle, robotics, IT and many others. Among the three invited speakers, professor Youn talked about Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) based on AI. The talk included basic many examples as well as AI based PHM for engineering systems.
